About The Position

Thermoid has a strong legacy of supplying high-quality, reliable rubber products to the industrial marketplace and is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Team Members to support our manufacturing operations in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This role has the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks across our production process, including mixing, milling, extrusion, finishing, packaging, and shipping of industrial hose products. Success in this position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Strong reliability and work ethic
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends
• Ability to perform medium-duty work, including: Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, Lifting 25 lbs. frequently, Lifting 10 lbs. continuously
• Stand and remain active for extended periods
• Push, pull, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience
• Experience using measurement tools (OD tape, plug gauges, cutters, etc.)
• Basic computer skills
• Successfully complete forklift certification if applicable to position (training provided)
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail
• Follow all company policies and plant rules consistently

Responsibilities

• Operate and support equipment used in: Mixing and milling operations, Hose extrusion processes, Finishing and packaging, Shipping and loading
• Follow all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards at all times
• Perform work in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Use basic math skills to accurately record and report production data
• Utilize equipment and hand tools accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Properly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work collaboratively as part of a team-focused manufacturing environment
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
