This role involves leading and executing manufacturing and engineering projects across machining sites, supporting new program launches, transfers, and complex machining introductions. The engineer will drive the closure of cross-site engineering initiatives, conduct manufacturability and producibility reviews, identify machining risks, and support advanced machining strategies. Additionally, the role focuses on continuous improvement projects such as cycle time reduction, yield improvement, and scrap reduction, while also collaborating with NC Programming to standardize methods and improve efficiency. The position entails supporting the implementation of CNC capital equipment, manufacturing automation, probing and inspection strategies, NC Post-Processing standards, and digital workflows, ensuring adoption and integration across sites. The engineer will also serve as a technical liaison between enterprise engineering and plant operations, traveling to machining sites to support floor-level execution and facilitate knowledge transfer.
