Radio Frequency Components (RFC) has a need for a 5th shift Production Supervisor at its Andover, MA facility with the hours for the 5th shift are 5:00pm to 5:00am on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This position has overall responsibility for the Wafer Fabrication operations team consisting of 15-20 employees. This individual will lead a team of people in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of work. This individual will also be responsible for a safe work environment and will lead and engage in safety improvement projects. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, equipment maintenance, production control, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

Requirements

  • Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in and/or guiding semiconductor manufacturing in a bargaining unit environment in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience assigning, managing, and measuring work assignments to completion.
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and solid people management while using good judgment to resolve conflicts.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) and/or SAP.
