About The Position

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor role will lead, direct, and develop production teams to safely execute the production schedule while meeting quality, delivery, and efficiency targets in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment. The ideal candidate is happy where he/she is currently employed but is interested in a more self-directed work environment, increased responsibility, and the opportunity to grow into additional roles. Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in electrical fabrication, panel building, wire harnessing, or industrial assembly preferred.
• Solid understanding of production schedules and priorities, labor standards, efficiency tracking, quality systems, and corrective actions.
• Comfortable using ERP systems for labor and job tracking.

Nice To Haves

• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution of the production schedule within assigned area(s).
• Ensure work orders are worked in priority sequence as defined by the schedule.
• Lead, coach, and hold production employees accountable to expectations.
• Ensure proper staffing, training, and skill coverage for daily operations.
• Ensure all work meets quality, workmanship, and documentation requirements.
• Address defects, rework, and quality issues at the point of occurrence.
• Own safety performance within assigned department.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.
