Manufacturing/Production Supervisor
About The Position
This is a high visibility opportunity for a 1st shift Production Supervisor within Raytheon's Advanced Electronic Subassembly (AES) factory. The role has overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team of 15-20 employees. The individual will lead the team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment and daily interaction with other cross-business teams to meet organizational goals. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria.
Requirements
- Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
- Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
