About The Position

Aurelia Technologies is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure that turbine and component manufacturing runs safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Aurelias engineering and quality standards. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, coordinating workflows, monitoring equipment, and ensuring production targets are consistently met. The Production Supervisor partners closely with Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues, optimize processes, and support continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader with strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required Associate or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar manufacturing leadership role
  • Experience operating or supervising the use of manufacturing machinery, tools, and equipment
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, and technical documentation
  • Strong problem solving skills and a results driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and production reporting tools
  • Daily in person, predictable attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, or industrial equipment manufacturing
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with ERP or production management systems
  • OSHA certification

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate daily manufacturing activities from raw material input to final product delivery
  • Set daily, weekly, monthly production objectives and communicate expectations to employees
  • Organize workflow by assigning tasks, preparing schedules, and balancing labor across workstations
  • Oversee and coach production employees to ensure consistent performance and adherence to standards
  • Train new employees on machinery, safety procedures, and production processes
  • Monitor production line operations and conduct regular quality checks
  • Ensure production output meets engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or defects and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate production reports, logs, and performance records
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to reduce accidents and maintain a safe work environment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety standards, and industry regulations
  • Schedule regular equipment inspections and request maintenance as needed
  • Ensure employees use equipment safely and correctly
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Maintenance to ensure material availability and equipment readiness
  • Communicate production issues, delays, or risks to leadership and cross functional teams
  • Support Engineering with process changes, new product introductions, and build improvements
  • Implement cost effective solutions and improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency
  • Participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase throughput
  • Assess manpower needs and adjust staffing levels to meet production demands
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding production employees
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance support
