About The Position

Inside the Role We are looking for highly motivated leader ready to fulfill supervisory responsibilities which include leading Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale activities relative to daily production within their area of responsibility. This person would ensure adherence of all company policies within the department. They would manage daily manpower requirements to meet daily production demand, including changes in manpower, and training needs. Also, set-up and manage manufacturing production processes to manufacture products according to production specifications, build schedules, and quality standards. Lead teams to own their quality of product throughout the department. Maintain accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. What You Drive at DTNA Responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support the daily requirements of the department. Ensure training goals are met to maintain flexibility in manpower adjustments. Enforce Company work rules, policies, and procedures Adhere to and resolve any respective issues relative to the CBA (Union Contract). Drive Continuous Improvement efforts across area of responsibility. Coach and Develop team leaders and team members in alignment with Department & Plant Goals, TOS Implementation/sustainment and all Quality Systems. Assure we are compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Must compile, sort, and analyze data (such as Warranty, APA, and DPU) in an effort to improve processes and direct effective problem solving. Manage and support Quality Feedback Systems to ensure 1st Time Quality. Monitor and lead improvement efforts to meet respective Department Metric targets. Provide assistance in assessing the acceptability of both parts and processes of suppliers. Support department Training. Maintain training plans and records to ensure department flexibility and ISO compliance. Conduct daily inspections of work areas to assure compliance with safety and environmental policies. Participate in regular communication and work with cross functional areas to ensure 1st Time Quality. Requirements

  • BS/BA AND 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing environment OR 6 years of related experience in manufacturing environment in lieu of degree
