About The Position

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and controlling direct functions within the manufacturing shop, in addition to managing and coordinating process improvement projects. This role involves training and coaching employees on administrative or technical processes, ensuring employee safety, and verifying that workers have the necessary equipment and prints to perform their duties. The supervisor will resolve production issues, escalating those that require management attention, and educate employees on quality standards and procedures. Additionally, they will develop work instructions and procedures for manufacturing processes, conduct performance reviews, and utilize the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience, preferably in PWA (Printed Wiring Assembly) Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MePOD, SAP, Excel, Word, Dashboards, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a well-organized work environment.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing production demands and priorities.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and guide a team of individuals.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Supervising, motivating, and guiding a team of production workers.
  • Clearly conveying instructions, providing feedback, and fostering open communication within the team.
  • Making sound decisions under pressure, especially when resolving production issues or conflicts.
  • Addressing and resolving disagreements or issues that arise within the team.
  • Training new employees, providing guidance, and helping team members develop their skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred, but an Associates or Technical degree along with electronics experience would be good.
  • IPC-610 certification (even if expired) would be good to have.
  • Vietnamese language competency is optional.
