About The Position

We are looking for a responsible Supervisor to oversee the workflow at our facilities. The ideal candidate will not just be someone who supervises the work of others. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between team members and upper management.

Requirements

BS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience leading teams of people in a high volume manufacturing setting in lieu of a degree
Microsoft office and other Microsoft desktop applications
Ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support the daily requirements of responsible production areas.
Supervise the process and performance of production area to ensure quality, delivery, and cost KPI’s are achieved.
Promote and execute Truck Operating System problem solving techniques across teams in an effort to improve areas efficiency.
Administer facility policies, procedures and safety requirements.
Conduct daily inspections for work areas to assure compliance with safety, housekeeping and environmental policies.
Support the Training matrix by continually evaluating and developing Team Leader and employee skill level as required to increase flexibility and meet safety goals.
Support the development of the plant strategic plan for improvement and implementation of Truck Operating System /Lean production system within the targeted operating unit.
Implement Lean Manufacturing by using Continuous Improvement and 5S tools.
