Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with production systems
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Basic math skills, including use of decimals and measurements
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual as defined by applicable regulations)
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (e.g., stamping, wire forming, machining, casting, or related field) preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor a variety of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, slide-forming machines, rolling mills, and/or furnace systems
- Set up machinery with appropriate tooling, dies, cutters, guides, molds, and cores according to specifications and work orders
- Perform production tasks such as wire loading, spooling materials, charge preparation, melting, casting, and forming operations
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, hardness testers, and comparators
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and production documentation
- Complete work orders, production logs, and other required documentation accurately
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications
- Maintain adherence to process controls, including temperature, measurements, and material composition where applicable
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and assist in maintaining proper material chemistry and specifications
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S/6S standards
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Minimize waste and prevent scrap or contamination through proper handling and processing techniques
- Assist with material handling and equipment setup, including use of cranes or other lifting devices where required
- Collaborate with team members and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
