The Manufacturing Production Control Specialist will review and determine the production process necessary to produce metal parts. This role involves establishing routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, and labor estimates for revisions and new parts. The specialist will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to assess and document Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). A key aspect of this role is applying continuous improvement methods like lean manufacturing to enhance quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The specialist will identify and implement changes to improve products or reduce costs by leveraging knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, assembly methods, quality control, and materials. Additionally, the role includes performing administrative duties, creating and updating process documentation and work instructions, maintaining workflows, and collaborating with engineering to improve manufacturability, safety, quality, production, and cost.
