About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager for DMOS5, its largest 200mm semiconductor manufacturing facility. The manager oversees technical support and sustaining engineering activities in a product manufacturing area and may plan and direct equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and yields for existing products. The role may also serve as an engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure process and design compatibility, and may select, develop, and evaluate personnel to support efficient operations.

The manager is responsible for strategic development of a process module, focusing on quality, cost, cycle time, and capacity improvements, as well as new technology development and transfers. The specific module will depend on candidate fit and opportunities for internal movement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related degree.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience in semiconductor fab manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising direct reports in semiconductor fab manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical support and sustaining engineering activities in a product manufacturing area.
• Plan and direct implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products.
• Act as an engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function.
• Lead strategic development of a process module focused on quality, cost, cycle time, and capacity improvements.
• Support new technology developments and transfers related to the assigned process module.
