Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4years engineering degree preferably in (ME, MFG,IE or EE)
  • Be at least a Junior or Senior at the time of application with a 3.0 GPA or better.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using your natural curiosity.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various manufacturing engineering assignments
  • Carry out basic work instructions
  • Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
  • Complete assigned tasks on time
  • Gather and assemble data for engineers
  • Assist in creating and updating Mfg Assembly Instructions and Routes under engineering supervision
  • Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
  • Assist engineers with appropriate design reviews and assembly processes
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering tasks, methods, programs and practices
  • Other duties as assigned
