Manufacturing Process Engineer — Metal Fabrication & Coatings

Axion RecruitmentCamden, SC
Onsite

About The Position

Step into a key engineering role with a market-leading metal processing and fabrication manufacturer. From powder coating lines to assembly and welded components, you’ll elevate productivity, quality, and safety while partnering with cross-functional teams to keep operations running smoothly. A day in the role Morning walkthroughs take you from the powder booth to the assembly cells. You review yesterday’s KPIs, jump into a root-cause discussion on a weld distortion issue, and adjust a fixture concept in CAD. Before lunch, you update routings and BOMs tied to an MRP change; by afternoon you’re facilitating a quick FMEA on a new sheet-metal assembly and lining up a continuous improvement event to reduce changeover time on the coating line.
