This onsite Manufacturing Process Engineer role is responsible for driving manufacturing process improvement and validation while providing daily support to quality and operations teams. The position combines office-based analysis and design work with hands-on time in the shop floor and lab, troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience, required.
Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical/problem-solving ability.
Team player with strong attention to detail.
Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.

Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing process improvement and validation initiatives.
Provide daily support to quality and operations teams.
Spend approximately 30% of time in the office on process change notices (PCNs), test reporting, prototype design, and manufacturing process analysis.
Spend approximately 70% of time on the shop floor and in the lab troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes.
Partner with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes, PCNs, and related initiatives.
