About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time, onsite Manufacturing Process Engineer in Pontiac, Illinois. The role drives manufacturing process improvement and validation while providing daily support to quality and operations teams. It combines office-based analysis and design work with hands-on work on the shop floor and in the lab, including troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes. Approximately 30% of the time is spent in the office on process change notices (PCNs), test reporting, prototype design, and manufacturing process analysis; approximately 70% is spent on the shop floor and in the lab. The engineer partners with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes, PCNs, and related initiatives. The stated annual salary range is $70,000–$75,000.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving ability.
Team player with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrates critical-thinking attributes and uses innovative ideas.

Responsibilities
