About The Position
Flexcraft is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer with extrusion blow molding experience to join their growing team. This role focuses on improving performance, reducing scrap, and supporting new product launches within the plastics manufacturing environment. The position offers a high-visibility opportunity to own the process, solve real problems, and drive measurable results directly on the production floor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of process engineering experience in plastics manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with extrusion blow molding strongly preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes in production
- Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and molding equipment
- Comfortable working on the production floor—not just at a desk
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma tools
Responsibilities
- Optimize processes to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues directly on the floor
- Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions
- Support new product launches, mold trials, and validations
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams
- Develop SOPs and standardize best practices
