About The Position

The Manufacturing / Process Engineer supports daily production operations, engineering activities, and system execution to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, rapid troubleshooting, and consistent product quality. This role will improve on-time delivery, reduce production losses, and support continuous improvement initiatives while enabling effective execution of engineering priorities. Requirements

  • 2-5 years of prior experience
  • Strong understanding of production processes and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on, shopfloor-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Time-management skills
  • Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP/M3)
  • Experience with data analysis (excel)

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time troubleshooting support for wire drawing, annealing, and thermocouple processes
  • Work closely with production supervisors to resolve daily manufacturing issues
  • Support material allocation and MO readiness in coordination with the planning team
  • Assist in verifying MO setup (package quantity, weight specs, routing)
  • Support process improvement initiatives (productivity, yield, defect reduction)
  • Assist in data collection and analysis (SAP/M3, Excel, production data)
  • Support thermocouple lab coordination and testing workflow
  • Support new part setup and system creation (SAP/M3)
  • Develop manufacturing and production processes that are reliable, cost-effective, and support the organization's short and long-term business objectives.
  • Drive and contribute to improvements to increase productivity, quality and cost of equipment, processes, work and best practice.
  • Contribute with input from production in product development projects.
  • Responsible to perform support to production.
  • Control and ensure that production schedules are met of the assigned production process.
  • Revise and implement new method/process/products and equipment in production.
  • Purchase and implement equipment/system in production.
  • Create and revise directives and instructions with area of expertise.
