About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Master Scheduler. As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Master Scheduler, you will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of the assigned department or facility.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extremely proficient with production planning / ERP systems, such as Epicor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • ABILITY TO READ, SPEAK AND WRITE IN ENGLISH.
  • PROLONGED PERIODS OF SITTING AT A DESK AND WORKING ON A COMPUTER.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 15 POUNDS AT TIMES.
  • U.S. citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
  • Collaborate with these departments to establish SIOP Demand & Capacity plans, schedules and frozen operations plans that allocate available resources to best serve our customer needs.
  • Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
  • Negotiates with outside supply vendors; ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders.
  • Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
  • Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
  • Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
  • Performs other related duties, as required.
