About The Position
US Farathane is looking to hire a Manufacturing Planning Engineer. This role will support our Corporate Tech Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The Manufacturing Planning Engineer reports directly to the Corporate Manufacturing Planning Manager and will serve as an understudy to this role. Given the uniqueness of the role, there will be extensive training and development specific to the company’s needs and requirements to equip the candidate for success.
Requirements
- Industrial power distribution systems.
- Tower and Chiller water cooling systems.
- Compressed air systems.
- Material handling systems – storage, drying, vacuum transport.
- Injection molding equipment.
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering degree / diploma and or appropriate combination of study and practical experience.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to all USF manufacturing facilities with regards to project related issues as well as problem solving equipment and facility issues.
- Understanding and use of computer drafting software, Architectural design.
- Facility development engineering.
- Project management.
- Assisting with training USF staff on equipment operating and maintenance procedures.
- Assisting Corporate Manufacturing Planning Manager with driving equipment standardization.
