About The Position

US Farathane is looking to hire a Manufacturing Planning Engineer for its Corporate Tech Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This role will support all USF manufacturing facilities with project-related issues and problem-solving for equipment and facility issues. The individual will be an understudy to the Corporate Manufacturing Planning Manager, receiving extensive training and development specific to the company’s needs. The role involves facility development engineering, project management, and assisting with training staff on equipment operating and maintenance procedures, as well as driving equipment standardization.

Requirements

• Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering degree / diploma and or appropriate combination of study and practical experience.
• Industrial power distribution systems.
• Tower and Chiller water cooling systems.
• Compressed air systems.
• Material handling systems – storage, drying, vacuum transport.
• Injection molding equipment.
• Understanding and use of computer drafting software, Architectural design.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Industrial and or manufacturing engineering background
• Some experience in a plastics manufacturing environment

Responsibilities
