  • Strong knowledge of product and job costing, with experience in analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in a complex, technical manufacturing environment, ideally supporting engineered-to-order or low-volume/high-complexity products.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and structured manufacturing workflows.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office Suite, Excel, Power BI, and planning or reporting tools.
  • Ability to develop and manage project schedules, including logic development, progress tracking, and change order impact analysis.
  • All candidates must be eligible to apply for and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security Clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule and manufacturing schedules for sonar products and systems.
  • Translate demand, project requirements, and engineering inputs into executable production plans.
  • Contribute to forward‑looking capacity, labor, and material planning.
  • Identify scheduling risks, constraints, and conflicts, and escalate with recommended mitigation options.
  • Coordinate job creation, sequencing, and release activities from order intake through closeout.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Leads, Procurement, and Materials teams to ensure jobs are ready and progressing as planned.
  • Track work‑in‑progress and maintain accurate planning and status information to support operational decisions.
  • Lead daily interdepartmental manufacturing stand-up meetings, ensuring clear alignment on daily priorities, identification and resolution of blockers.
  • Support weekly planning and scheduling meetings, including data preparation and action follow‑up.
  • Act as a central planning point of contact for near‑term production coordination across functions.
  • Align production schedules with material availability and procurement timelines.
  • Collect and maintain labor and material actuals to support costing and lead‑time development.
  • Provide planning inputs to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Business Development teams.
  • Support reporting on manufacturing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
  • Assist with planning data analysis using ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Prepare and present planning and schedule updates for Manufacturing leadership as required.
  • Play an active role in continuous improvement efforts across planning, scheduling, and manufacturing coordination.
