About The Position

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of material, both physically and systematically, through the different production plants. This role involves managing specific processes like the A2A site for unplanned work requests and the SWAP process for component movement. You will also perform audits of SAP transactions, manage data retention, assist with inventory management projects, and support production lines with weekly metrics. Requirements

Experience in Production or Production Control
Familiar with warehouse operations and processes
Familiar with SAP

Nice To Haves

Experience with PLS and related materials
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Continuous improvement experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in data manipulation and creating metrics

Responsibilities

Manage the A2A site that creates requests for unplanned work through the fabrication departments at the different sites.
Administrate the SWAP process for the movement of parameter effective major components from one tail assignment to another.
Perform audit of all SWAP SAP transactions to identify process gaps and reoccurring errors, working with IT and Finance to resolve data errors during and post SWAP activity.
Own of all data and forms retentions through SharePoint site and owner of automated system activity and requests.
Assist with project management actions to right size inventory and scrub systematic transactions that create false inventory.
Support PC line and FAB shop with weekly metrics that include Auto closure Errors. Aged Orders, Line Rejects, Aged Virtual Inventory, and Lost in Shop.
Manage Aero to Aero Transfer (ATA) and monitor payback span time.
