About The Position

The selected candidate will be fully capable of building LOB's for critical shortages and assessing pertinent data related to the different programs experiencing competing demand for critical shortage parts. This position will network with POCS and SME's across the enterprise to collect data and develop supporting charts for critical shortages and gain a comprehensive knowledge of the system and processes used in the production, sustainment, and other organizations competing for the same supply. The selected candidate will work closely with the supply chain integration team and the buyers to directly develop and maintain current status on material availability and developing constraints affecting supply. The position will be familiar with the PAR/SAR processes and will be a key advisor in making allocation decisions. The candidate will be a SME in the PGMC (program critical material control) process for the FWT site and assist in adding and releasing parts from the list of controlled materials. This position will be key in developing long term strategies to mitigate impacts to lines of business affected by program critical shortages.

Requirements

  • Experience in Production Control operations, material distribution, and material movement.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and building line of balances for materials and individual parts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Continuous Improvement for processes and operations.
  • Experience with Sustainment and Supply Chain operations.
