Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Proficiency in reading comprehension, good writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Available to work overtime when required.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret English.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles product parts according to Bill of Material, Blue Prints, Specs and SOPs following Good Manufacturing Practices, Documentation, Quality, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Ensures the product has all its components.
  • Performs leak and blockage tests on the product when required.
  • Inspects the product at all stages of manufacturing.
  • Places product parts on the belt or conveyor.
  • Performs manual or semi-automatic assembly of parts following specific methods.
  • Verifies that the parts to be used are appropriate and in good condition.
  • Packages individual units as specified by the applicable Bill of Material, Specs and SOPs.
  • Packages and palletizes final product as specified by the applicable Bill of Material, Specs and SOPs.
  • Visually inspects the product for defects.
  • Documents as required.
  • Maintains the work area organized and clean according to the 6S Program.
  • Reports any unsafe condition in the work area, as well as any deviation in the normal operation of the belt or machinery.
  • Complies at all times with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) with company rules and EHS regulations.
  • Responsible for continuous EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental aspects. Follows applicable procedures, and analyzes EHS incidents (including near misses) to find causes and take corrective actions.
