About The Position

Aptyx is seeking an Operator to operate PVC dip molding and coating ovens. The role includes preparing and processing metal parts, inspecting and finishing products, and supporting production workflows. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. This is a full-time position paying from $18.50 per hour, with expected hours of 40–50 per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate PVC dip molding and coating ovens.
• Set up machines according to specifications and established routing instructions.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy according to supplied prints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient production processes.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Hang and rack metal parts to prepare them for dip molding and/or coating.
• Trim, inspect, un-rack, package, and palletize parts after the oven process.
• Assemble parts as needed.
