Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for a 1st shift Dice/Laser/UltraVia Floater. This role is responsible for working at multiple operations within the Laser, Dice, and UltraVia manufacturing areas. The primary equipment used in this role includes an ADT Dicing Saw, a CO2 Laser machining center, and a 2-axis robotic dispense machine. Job Location: Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings and work instructions.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Critical thinking ability along with ability to use known inputs and outputs to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work across multiple manufacturing areas and adapt to varying processes and equipment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the set-up, cleaning, operation, and troubleshooting of assigned machines across the Dice, Laser, and UltraVia areas.
  • Operate all machine and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Accurately read and comprehend work instructions, process sheets, and dimensional drawings.
  • Inspect substrates for proper quantity and quality prior to processing.
  • Perform visual microscope inspection as required, up to 2-3 hours per day.
  • Identify out of spec product, place product on hold, and escalate to the appropriate team member.
  • Properly load and unload substrates in all assigned machines.
  • Select and verify correct programs for each work order prior to processing.
  • Make adjustments to machinery as necessary, within process windows, in order to make quality product.
  • Perform 100% visual inspection of all parts before moving on to the next operation.
  • Remain focused on producing the highest quality product to support overall company yield and on-time delivery goals.
  • Document production activities in the ERP system as well as various quality databases.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
