Join our Baker Hughes Bently Nevada team as a Manufacturing Operator on the Swing Shift. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
  • Be available to work Swing shift - Monday through Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm and overtime and weekends as needed.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, customer service (retail, food service, etc.), clerical, technical, and/or mechanical.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Willingness to learn and follow internal Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to operate material moving equipment and/or obtain the necessary certification.
  • Work with small parts and read fine text.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read and interpret routine instructions.
  • Work with approved chemicals.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
  • Be able to pass basic solder training.

Responsibilities

  • Performing daily production operations while following all applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures; complete work in a timely manner while maintaining excellent standards.
  • Operating multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Daily communication with Engineering teams, planners, Sales, and Management on a level necessary to allow closed-loop communication of assembly and scheduling issues.
  • Inspection of purchased parts, components, and equipment.
  • Work effectively in a multi-team environment; communicate with sales, planning, engineering, and management teams regarding assembly and scheduling issues.
