The Manufacturing operator position is responsible for operating assembly equipment and/or second operation machines through various tasks such as greenforming, sintering, laser cutting, wet saw cutting, inspecting, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembling and packaging membrane products. Completes other duties as assigned. This role involves following documented sequences for processing raw metal powders, using computer-driven vacuum furnaces, inspecting and documenting metal membrane products, performing cutting and cleaning, final inspection, labeling, and packaging. Data entry into SAP is required for inspection data and batch details. The position also includes performing setups and adjustments according to work instructions, using metrology equipment and basic math, operating computer programs, and building to necessary Takt rates. Responsibilities also include assisting with inventory, cycle counts, prioritizing work, keeping the work area clean, and potentially directing lower-level operators. Strong English communication skills are necessary. Overtime may be required.
