Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for a 1st Shift Laser Area Floater in Hollis, NH. In this position, the Laser Area Floater will be responsible for working at multiple operations within the laser manufacturing department.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and Industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Critical thinking ability along with ability to use known inputs/outputs to achieve desired results.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the set-up, cleaning, operation, and troubleshooting of the machine.
  • Operate machine and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Accurately read and comprehend instructions and drawings.
  • Inspect substrates for proper quantity and quality prior to processing.
  • Perform visual microscope inspection for 2-3 hours per day.
  • Identify out of spec product and place product on hold.
  • Properly load and unload substrates in the machine.
  • Make adjustments to machinery as necessary, within process windows, in order to make quality product.
  • Remain focused on producing the highest quality product to support overall company yield and on-time-delivery goals.
  • Perform 100% visual inspection of all parts before moving on to the next operation.
  • Document production activities in the ERP system as well as various quality databases.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Cross-train and flex into other manufacturing processes and cells as assigned to support production demand.
