About The Position

This role involves working independently and in coordination with the Production Team, Lead, or Supervisor to perform basic troubleshooting, maintain equipment, and ensure area cleanliness. The position interfaces with safety, quality, engineering, and senior manufacturing personnel to identify and implement process improvements and validations. The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for producing products on schedule, meeting quality standards, and achieving cost objectives to satisfy customer demand. Key duties include ensuring day-to-day operations are performed efficiently, optimizing operations for maximum productivity, and managing proper line opening and closing procedures for complete operations. The role also requires learning and applying knowledge of safety hazards associated with processes, equipment, and materials during routine operations. A wide variety of skilled duties are involved in the preparation and operation of process equipment. Specific tasks include cleaning VLM’s every other month, assisting with weekly cycle counts, printing pick lists/work orders, and issuing materials to work orders as needed. The C Shift operates from Monday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of material handling or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Works independently and in coordination with the Production Team, Lead or Supervisor.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
  • Interfaces and works with safety, quality, engineering and senior manufacturing personnel in identifying and implementing process improvements and process validations.
  • Responsible for manufacturing products on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure day-to-day duties are being performed.
  • Optimizing operations to realize maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensures proper line opening and line closing for one or more complete operations.
  • Responsible for learning the safety hazards of processes, equipment and materials and applying that knowledge during routine operations.
  • Performs a wide variety of skilled duties in the preparation and operation of process equipment.
  • Cleans VLM’s every other month and assists with weekly cycle counts as needed.
  • Prints pick lists/ pick work orders.
  • Help issue material to work orders when needed.
