This role involves working independently and in coordination with the Production Team, Lead, or Supervisor to perform basic troubleshooting, maintain equipment, and ensure area cleanliness. The position interfaces with safety, quality, engineering, and senior manufacturing personnel to identify and implement process improvements and validations. The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for manufacturing products on schedule, meeting quality standards and cost objectives to satisfy customer demand. Key duties include ensuring day-to-day tasks are performed, optimizing operations for maximum efficiency and productivity, and managing proper line opening and closing procedures for one or more operations. A critical aspect of the role is understanding and applying knowledge of safety hazards associated with processes, equipment, and materials during routine operations. The operator will perform a variety of skilled duties in the preparation and operation of process equipment, including cleaning VLM's every other month, assisting with weekly cycle counts, printing pick lists/work orders, and issuing materials to work orders as needed. The shift for this position is C Shift: Monday – Thursday 10pm – 6:30am.
