About The Position

This role is responsible for performing molding, demolding, and other manufacturing-related duties to produce PVA sponge product meeting specifications. The operator will promote a safe workplace, follow established work policies, and assist in training less experienced team members to achieve daily production goals. They will also assist the Lead-Materials Processor with equipment operation, clean and assemble molds, and adhere to all company, department quality, and safety procedures. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school graduate or general education degree (GED).
Ability to follow written instructions.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Average computer skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Good problem-solving skills.
Proven safety record.
Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe workplace and follow all established work policies.
Perform molding, demolding and other manufacturing related duties as required.
Help train and oversee other less experienced manufacturing materials processors to ensure daily production goals are achieved.
Assist Lead-Materials Processor with the operation of manufacturing equipment to produce PVA sponge product meeting product specifications.
Clean and assemble PVA sponge molds.
Follow established process operating and safety procedures.
Contribute to maintain and improve overall company personnel Safety.
Adhere to all Company, department quality and Safety procedures.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
