About The Position

This role is responsible for performing various manufacturing duties related to PVA sponge product production. The operator will ensure a safe workplace, meet daily production goals, and assist with the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This position also involves training less experienced team members and adhering to all company quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

High school graduate or general education degree (GED).
Ability to follow written instructions.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Average computer skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Good problem-solving skills.
Proven safety record.
Must be clean shaven within OSHA regulations when required to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe workplace and follow all established work policies.
Perform molding, demolding and other manufacturing related duties as required.
Help train and oversee other less experienced manufacturing materials processors to ensure daily production goals are achieved.
Assist Lead-Materials Processor with the operation of manufacturing equipment to produce PVA sponge product meeting product specifications.
Clean and assemble PVA sponge molds.
Follow established process operating and safety procedures.
Contribute to maintain and improve overall company personnel Safety.
Adhere to all Company, department quality and Safety procedures.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
