About The Position

As a Manufacturing Supervisor at MKS Broomfield, you will lead the second‑shift production team to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. You will oversee daily operations, support your team, and maintain strong communication across shifts. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. You Will Make an Impact By: Daily Production Execution Leading day‑to‑day manufacturing activities to meet safety, quality, and output goals. Ensuring schedules are met and adjusting staffing or priorities as issues arise. Team Leadership & Workforce Management Supervising, coaching, and developing operators and team leads. Managing work assignments, attendance, and overall team performance. Safety & Compliance Enforcing safety rules, PPE, and safe work practices. Responding to hazards and incidents while promoting a strong safety culture. Quality Assurance Ensuring products meet quality standards and verifying inspections are completed correctly. Addressing defects and supporting root‑cause and corrective actions. Equipment & Process Oversight Ensuring proper use of equipment and coordinating with Maintenance on issues. Monitoring downtime and ensuring adherence to standard work. Communication & Coordination Acting as the link between operators and management. Communicating priorities and participating in daily production and escalation discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience
  • Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop production teams
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Consistent enforcement of safety rules and safe work practices
  • Solid understanding of quality standards, inspections, and defect response
  • Ability to manage performance, attendance, and conflict fairly
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment
