The Manufacturing Operations team is the driving force behind the planning and execution of Cisco’s Operating Plan across our global manufacturing network. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of proven experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, including manufacturing and product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex, high-impact portfolio exceeding $1B in annual revenue
  • Strong experience in demand and buffer planning, including development and management of full-stack buffer strategies
  • Expertise in inventory management and excess & obsolete (E&O) processes, including inventory sizing, scrap analysis, and execution of product transitions
  • Proven experience in supply chain operations, program management, or business planning within a high-tech or manufacturing environment

  • Experience in business sensing and market share analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable supply chain strategies

Responsibilities

  • Drive the orchestration of Cisco’s Operating Plan across our manufacturing network, playing a pivotal role in connecting Demand Planning with Business Units to align critical business drivers.
  • Assist Product Planning and Fulfillment (PPF) teams with the Buffer process, serving as a key interface to the Inventory and Central Services teams.
  • Develop and track full-stack buffer levels, drive inventory sizing, and manage aging Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory to ensure supply-demand alignment and support informed decision-making.
  • Lead the orchestration of Quarterly Operations Planning Team (OPT) strategic plans, conduct scenario planning, and execute Project ID (PID) segmentation strategies.
  • Own planning strategies for product lifecycle management and product transitions.
  • Perform key analytics to support business sensing and market share trends.
  • Facilitate critical OPT and BU planning meetings.
  • Ensure strategic stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration to maintain a resilient, agile supply chain aligned with business objectives.
