About The Position

GF Fab 8 is seeking a 2027 New College Graduate to join the Manufacturing Operations team. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations within a highly automated wafer fabrication facility while applying data analytics, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize factory performance and material flow. Requirements

  • Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited degree program.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
  • English (Written & Verbal) language fluency.

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in module learning and cross-functional manufacturing operations training.
  • Acquire, analyze, and manipulate manufacturing data using tools such as Excel and SQL.
  • Support initiatives to improve material movement and factory flow within the wafer fabrication facility.
  • Actively participate in operational excellence, continuous improvement, learning, and skills development activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and other global cross-functional teams.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities based on operational needs.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
