Manufacturing Operations Analyst
About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Manufacturing Operations Analysts (Level 4) to join the Seal MOJO team in Everett, Washington. This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative and engaged Seal MOJO Team, to support all programs across the enterprise as requested. In this role you will partner and engage with Senior Leadership, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams across multiple programs on strategic and tactical business transformation initiatives to improve quality and production efficiency. You will have the opportunity to review engineering design with influence to improve and optimize processes in the manufacturing of current and future aircraft models. Using the BPSM, you will collaborate across multiple-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and identify potential solutions. You will assist in designing and delivering enhancement material.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment performing sealant application
- 3+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
- 3+ years of experience in performing data analysis
- 3+ years of experience with Project Management
Responsibilities
- Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Analyzes and interprets data
- Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Works under minimal direction
- Leads and assist in delivering and coaching employees attending seal enhancement training
