About The Position

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Manufacturing Mixer/Machine Operator for their Camarillo, CA location. This role involves following specific formulations to mix and mill dielectric materials using various types of mills, and supporting casting operations as needed. JTI has over thirty years of experience specializing in the design, manufacture, and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components for the global electronics market.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Working in a chemical environment
Comfortable wearing a full mask respirator
Basic computer skills
Good math skills
Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

At least six (6) months experience in a manufacturing environment
Measuring and mixing chemicals
Setting-up and operating semi-automated machines
Working in a Clean Room Environment

Responsibilities

Working from formulation sheets, weighing materials and chemicals on scales.
Loading mills and setting timers per specification.
Using zahn cup, specific gravity cup, and other analytic equipment to verify.
Assisting in cleaning up solvent or material spills; following proper PPE.
Setting up and operating casting machines (Steel Belt Keko), as needed.
Communicating with various departments (Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Leads) on a daily basis.
Receiving frequent verbal instruction and performing inspection of work or materials produced.
