About The Position

Pentair is seeking a temporary Manufacturing Material Handler to join their New Brighton, MN team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering materials to support the production schedule, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. You will also be involved in replenishing materials using pick lists and visual signals. The position requires the use of equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, and WAVs, and emphasizes adherence to Lean/5S continuous improvement and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have prior material handling experience and the ability to learn Pentair's products and basic structures.

Requirements

Experience operating forklift, pallet jacks, and tugger.
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
Steel-toed footwear is required.
Prior material handling experience is preferred.
Must have the ability to learn Pentair’s products and basic product structures.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials for customer orders to production on a timed, consumption-based delivery within the facility.
Support and promote Lean/5S continuous improvement and safety standards.
Utilize appropriate equipment (forklift, tugger, WAV, etc.) to pick, deliver and put away materials.
Prepare materials in an accurate manner from the supermarket to support production schedule.
Responsible for replenishment of material through material pick lists and visual replenishment signals.
