The Manufacturing Manager will own production scheduling, workforce performance, labor utilization, manufacturing processes, tooling readiness, and continuous improvement while working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality. We’re looking for someone who understands both people and process—a leader who can develop a team, remove production constraints, use data to improve performance, and build stronger manufacturing systems over time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated success improving manufacturing processes, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, production planning and reporting tools, manufacturing performance data, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and people-development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and production personnel.
  • Own production scheduling, labor allocation, workflow, and manufacturing execution to meet delivery commitments.
  • Develop employees and build a high-performing, accountable production team.
  • Ensure production readiness, including materials, documentation, work instructions, tooling, equipment, and trained personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
  • Identify production constraints and lead sustainable corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Oversee manufacturing-engineering support, tooling readiness, and production efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality on manufacturability, engineering changes, production readiness, and manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities follow established QMS procedures, work instructions, inspection requirements, and process controls.
  • Monitor performance through measures including on-time delivery, product quality, production efficiency, process improvement, and personnel development.
