About The Position

Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Fabrication Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the Emergent Operations Team based out of Renton, Washington on 2nd shift . As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model. Position Responsibilities: Leads employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas. Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Leads, develops and motivates employees.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)
  • 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
  • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
