About The Position

This role focuses on engineering associated with the manufacturing process, impacting the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness objectives. The position operates within defined policy objectives and allows for moderate autonomy, requiring significant operational judgment to achieve desired outcomes. The Manufacturing Manager will organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations, and optimization, while also managing capital investments. This role includes oversight of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing Engineers. It requires specialized knowledge within the function, influencing strategy development for the area of responsibility, including resource control and policy formulation. The manager will interpret business challenges, recommend best practices, and stay informed of industry trends. High levels of judgment are needed for complex tasks in operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering areas. The ability to assess information quality, ask pertinent questions, and offer novel solutions outside of set parameters is crucial. The role involves using multiple internal and some external sources to make decisions and may lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, or complexity. The manager will communicate complex concepts and influence others' opinions, potentially guiding them to consider different viewpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing CNC experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization.
  • Manage capital investments.
  • Oversee Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and NPI Manufacturing Engineers.
