About The Position

This position is responsible for learning all production, management, and supervision operations of the assigned Midwest Manufacturing production facility. The role focuses on efficient production, fulfilling orders within acceptable lead times, maintaining facility readiness and equipment utilization, enforcing safety practices, and improving profitability and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are built as efficiently as possible.
• Ensure orders are filled within an acceptable lead time.
• Participate in setting and evaluating production quotas for quantity and quality.
• Manage and lead Team Members by promoting productivity, quality, and safety.
• Work with Supervisors and Managers to accomplish goals.
• Evaluate current processes and identify improvements.
• Keep production facilities in good repair, orderly, and clean.
• Use equipment to capacity to fill orders.
• Ensure safety policies are enforced, training is up to date, and equipment is guarded and well maintained.
• Document safety training and maintenance.
• Maintain open communication with Team Members about safety issues.
• Attain the highest profit dollars possible.
• Balance inventory and reduce stock to maximize inventory turnover and maintain in-stock position.
