What You Will Do Take your career to the next step as a Manufacturing Engineering Section Manager. The Section Manager will report to the Operations Execution (XOPs) Engineering Department Manager and will closely collaborate with Operations in support of cable and harness manufacturing. The position will be located in Andover, MA. What You Will Learn Providing engineering support for the development and sustainment of production processes, generation and maintenance of Manufacturing Data Packages, tooling development, capital equipment, project execution, and innovation. Planning and scheduling of strategic projects, driving producibility into product designs, and managing tactical support to the manufacturing production floor. Leading the engineering support team in root cause and corrective action analysis, driving continuous improvement projects, and interfacing with the product value streams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • 2+ Years of Manufacturing leadership experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Detailed working knowledge of CMES, SAP, PRISM, and PDM
  • Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Knowledge of cables manufacturing processes including but not limited to: Mechanical terminations, harness fabrication, lacing, and shielding termination
  • Experience with military and industry standards
  • Knowledge of Cables Manufacturing specifications including but not limited to: MIS-20887, 389456, MIL-DTL-38999, IPC-A-620, etc.
  • TDP/MDP Verification Certification
  • Active DoD security clearance
