The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains building and mechanical machinery, hydraulic components and physical structures of production CNC machines and equipment (i.e. engines, motors, pneumatic tools, etc.). This role involves performing a variety of complicated maintenance tasks using sound judgment with little or no supervision daily. The technician will collaborate with team members to prepare and schedule preventative maintenance, assist outside contractors, and act as a liaison with them, reporting back to leadership. Responsibilities include performing routine preventative maintenance on machines, such as replacing belts, filters, and fans, as well as dismantling machine equipment to access problem areas and remove defective parts. The role also involves cleaning and lubricating machine parts, troubleshooting electronic breakdowns (drives, servos), performing minor electronic and electrical repairs, and maintaining HVAC systems. Additionally, the technician will perform remodeling tasks, maintain good housekeeping in the work area, and may paint machines or equipment to prevent corrosion. Reporting major machine repairs, tool or material shortages, and concerns to the Leadership Team is also a key function. Other related duties as assigned.
