More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Peachtree City, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Calibrate, repair, process, and monitor production equipment Create/modify hardware/software test fixtures, jigs, and production prototypes . Document production and service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records Create/modify/review assembly & test procedures, executing departmental projects with minimal supervision Root-cause, trend, and process returned and non-conforming material, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems down to the component level Handle needs of plant as required, interact with other departments, and provide support as required More about you While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

Requirements

  • ASEE or equivalent (with 5+ years of experience)
  • Ability to solder fine pitch surface mount components and work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Skilled in the use of mechanical tools and assembly with the ability to interpret schematics and drawings
  • Ability to troubleshoot PCBAs/electro-mechanical systems and use test equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment multi-tasking projects throughout the day and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
  • Must be legally authorized to work for the company without current or future company sponsorship needs.
