About The Position

This role is for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I in a manufacturing/production environment, with a preference for experience in food manufacturing. The technician will apply engineering theory and principles to plant operations and utilize various technologies including homogenizers and blow molds. The position requires the proper use of tools and techniques with limited supervision, the ability to read and understand technical manuals, plant drawings, and schematics, and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

3+ years in a manufacturing/production environment within a related industry (Preference is for food manufacturing).
Understanding of engineering theory and principles as related to plant operations.
Knowledge of homogenizers, Blow Molds, Electrical Distribution (480V/60Uz/3 Phase).
Proper use of tools and techniques with limited supervision.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, plant drawings and schematics.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Welding experience
Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude.
General knowledge of plant equipment to include boiler operations, knowledge of fluid heat exchangers, part inventory and storage control, refridgeration cooling systems, types fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, air compressor operations, electrical distribution, electrical and electronic controls, welding operations.
Knowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook programs.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles.
