Manufacturing Maintenance Planner
About The Position
Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work using the Max Maintenance system. Review, prioritize, and validate maintenance work requests for completeness and accuracy. Develop detailed job plans including labor estimates, required tools, materials, permits, drawings, and safety requirements. Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to minimize operational disruptions. Maintain and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs based on equipment reliability and historical performance. Create and maintain equipment bills of materials (BOMs), maintenance procedures, and equipment documentation. Coordinate with Purchasing and Storeroom personnel to ensure parts and materials are available before scheduled work. Monitor maintenance backlog and prioritize work based on criticality, safety, compliance, and operational needs. Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance projects through detailed planning and scheduling. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and applicable maintenance standards. Generate maintenance performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management. Assist in developing annual maintenance budgets and forecasting maintenance resource requirements.

- Ability to walk throughout manufacturing facilities for extended periods
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated platforms
- Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, heat, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance planning, maintenance supervision, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using CMMS software (SAP PM, Maximo, Max Maintenance, Infor EAM, Oracle, Fiix, or similar)
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial manufacturing systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Nice To Haves
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- APICS, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies
- Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
