Manufacturing Maintenance III - Machinist

Provides advanced technical expertise in diagnosing complex failures, improving equipment reliability, and supporting long-term maintenance strategies. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience.
- Knowledge of advanced diagnostics for mechanical, electrical, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Skill in performing root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of reliability‑centered maintenance and equipment life‑cycle principles.
- Knowledge of manual machining equipment, including manual mills, lathes, and related equipment.
- Ability to mentor and develop less experienced maintenance technicians.
- Ability to plan and execute complex maintenance and repair activities.
- Ability to exercise independent technical judgment when resolving high‑impact equipment issues.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex and chronic equipment failures.
- Lead major equipment repairs and overhauls.
- Conduct root cause failure analyses and corrective actions.
- Improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Mentor and develop Maintenance I and II technicians.
- Drive reductions in unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering on equipment improvements.
- Promote maintenance best practices and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
